Will DrivePlay Work With My Vehicle?
The key factor for compatibility is having a power source such as a cigarette lighter socket to power the DrivePlay device. If your car has this, the DrivePlay can is compatible with your vehicle.
The DrivePlay system is designed to be compatible with a wide range of vehicles, especially those that may not have built-in advanced car features such as Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
It's suitable for both older and newer vehicles as it does not require any complex integration with the car's onboard computer systems.
The device is also versatile when it comes to connectivity, offering options such as Bluetooth and AUX to interface with your car's audio system.
Does DrivePlay Automatically Power On/Off With My Vehicle?
DrivePlay devices activate upon connection to your vehicle's power source. Should your car's cigarette lighter socket be linked to the ignition, DrivePlay will correspondingly power on and off with your car.
In cases where the socket remains continuously powered, you might need to switch off DrivePlay manually to avoid draining the battery.
It's advisable to observe if the DrivePlay screen turns off automatically when the vehicle is locked (this might take a few minutes in some cars).
If it remains on, unplugging the device is recommended. Future software updates are expected to introduce an auto shut-off feature for the screen after a period of non-use.
Can I Connect My Phone To The DrivePlay Unit And Play Music Through My Car's Speakers?
Yes, DrivePlay lets you connect your phone and play music via your car's speakers. It provides multiple connection options:

How Do I Install The Backup Camera?
- Mount the Camera: Place the rear view camera on the rear license plate or another suitable location at the back of your vehicle, ensuring it has a clear view of the road behind.
- Connect to Power: The rear view camera usually needs to be connected to a power source. This often involves wiring it to the reverse light power lead so that the camera is powered on when the vehicle is put into reverse.
- Route the Cables: Carefully route the camera's video cable from the rear of the vehicle to the front, where the DrivePlay device is mounted. Be sure to secure the cable and keep it away from any moving parts.
- Connect to the DrivePlay Device: Plug the video cable into the AV IN port of the DrivePlay device. This enables the video feed from the camera to be displayed on the screen.
- Configure the DrivePlay System: Once everything is connected, configure your DrivePlay system settings to recognize the rear view camera. This might involve selecting the correct input source for the camera feed.

However, for other functions like pausing, playing, or skipping tracks, you'll need to rely on your phone, the DrivePlay screen, or voice commands.

How Do I Connect DrivePlay To CarPlay?
Wireless Setup (Optional)
- Start Your Vehicle: Ensure your vehicle is in park and running to activate the DrivePlay device.
- Enable Bluetooth/Wi-Fi: Swipe into your control center and turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
- Pairing with DrivePlay: Go to your iPhone's Bluetooth settings and select the DrivePlay device from the list of available devices.
- Phone CarPlay Prompt: You might receive a prompt to allow CarPlay with DrivePlay. Tap “Allow” to proceed.
- Display on DrivePlay: The DrivePlay screen should now display the CarPlay interface, providing access to compatible apps and features.

How Do I Connect DrivePlay To Android Auto?

- Enable Bluetooth/Wi-Fi: Swipe down from the top of your phone screen to access the control center. Turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
- Pairing with DrivePlay: Go to your Android phone's Bluetooth settings and select DrivePlay from the list of available devices.
- Android Auto Prompt: You may receive a prompt to enable Android Auto with DrivePlay. If so, select “Yes” or “Allow”.
- Display on DrivePlay: The DrivePlay screen should now show the Android Auto interface, allowing access to compatible apps.
Wired Setup (Optional)
- Wired Connection: The DrivePlay Ultimate also supports a wired connection for Android Auto. Connect your Android phone to the DrivePlay device using a USB cable.

Why Isn't My Discount Code Applying?

Where do I enter the discount code?
To redeem your discount code, just input it at the time of checkout. Can I Get a Price Adjustment if the Item I Purchased Goes on Sale?

Is It Possible to Use Multiple Discount Codes on One Order?

Our packing schedule operates from Monday to Saturday, beginning at 9am and concluding at 12pm PST. After 12pm PST, we cease shipping activities because that is when our carrier collects the parcels. Orders placed over the weekend are shipped during these business hours as well.
